Mark has a PhD from the Max Planck Institute (MPI) of Colloids and Interfaces in Germany. Prior to beginning his endevour as an entrepreneur, he was appointed as Deputy Cluster Manager for the Opto-Electronics Systems Cluster at IMRE, A*STAR. In addition to his management role, he continued to actively be involved in research as a Principle Investigator. Mark also took on a role as a facilitator in Technology Roadmapping. He has filed 9 patents in the area of Flexible Displays.
As the CTO, Senthil is the key driver of the continued development of the barrier film technology. As a Principal Investigator at IMRE, he has executed several industry research projects and IMRE/ETPL Flagship project in barrier films. Senthil has 74 patents in barrier technology and has published over 50 papers. He obtained his M.Sc. in Surface Science & Technology from Loughborough University, UK and did his research project at Oxford University on barrier films. He has over 23 years of expertise in barrier substrate research, vacuum engineering & R2R coating systems.
