TBF is a private company with limited liability incorporated on 1 June 2025 under the laws of Singapore. It is a spin-off from the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research’s (“A*STAR”) Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (“IMRE”) and is a portfolio company of Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd, A*STAR’s marketing and commercialisation arm.
A portfolio of 74 patents on transparent gas barrier films technology, device encapsulation and gas permeation measurement methods has been developed. The technology know-how and the expertise provide a total barrier solution for displays, lightings, solar cell and plastic electronics device manufacturers as well as for food and medical packaging manufacturers.
