Dr Mark Dai Joong Auch, CEO and Co-Founder
Mark has a PhD from the Max Planck Institute (MPI) of Colloids and Interfaces in Germany.
Prior to beginning his endevour as an entrepreneur, he was last a Deputy Cluster Manager for the Opto-Electronics Systems Cluster at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), a research institute of A*STAR (or the Agency for Science, Technology and Research). In addition to his management role, he continued to actively be involved in research as a Principle Investigator.
Mark is also a facilitator in Technology Roadmapping, and has undertook numerous projects within the A*STAR facilities as well as external clients on behalf of A*STAR.
He has 7 patents in the area of Flexible Displays.
Senthil Kumar Ramadas (“Senthil”), CTO and Co-Founder
Senthil obtained his M.Sc in Surface Science from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
With more than 16 years experience in Barrier Substrate Research, Senthil is the key technical driver for TBF. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Senthil was a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), an institute of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore. His core research area has always centered around barrier substrates.
An accomplish researcher, he has 9 patents in Barrier technology and has published more than 30 papers in technical journals worldwide.
Senthil also has manufacturing experience, and has a track record of setting up manufacturing facilities for barrier technology, Transformer Impregnation process, vacuum flask, and heat exchanger plants.
